Our God is a covenant God. He has made a blood covenant with us through Jesus Christ that is an everlasting covenant which will never be broken.

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands." Deut. 7-9 (NIV)

"I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered." Psalm 89:34 (NIV)

"As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the Lord, "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth , or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the Lord," Isaiah 59:21 (NIV)

"I will make a covenant of peace with them…." Ezekiel 37:26 (NIV)

In Old Testament times, friends or families would take an oath before all the witnesses in performing a blood covenant. (This is still being practiced today in other parts of the world) They would announce their purposes for entering into this blood covenant relationship, write down their declarations, and then each party would sign with their own blood, then they would partake together of a sacrificial meal.

A family that was weak in a particular area and strong in another would enter into a blood covenant with a family that possessed strengths that they lacked. These two families would lay out the terms of the covenant which were discussed in great depth. A site was selected and the sealing of the covenant was made.

Gift Exchange
Their coats or garments were then exchanged, representing their authority and stood for who they were. Each representative would say "I am giving you all that I am and my authority." Then each representative took off his weapon belt and they exchanged weapons, and said, "I am giving you my strength, your enemies are my enemies, I will stand with you even unto death. Each family took on the other's name. Their name represented who they were. In doing this they were saying, "Your family is now my family, your name is now my name, and your ways are now my ways."

Covenant Meal
The families joined together for a covenant meal. They brought the cup of wine and bread. They each broke the bread and fed it to one another and partook of the cup together. It was to last a least eight generations of family.

God's Covenant Reveals His Purpose
His purpose in entering into a covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ is to draw us to Himself and to totally depend upon Him and to bring us into a covenant relationship where we are joined together in fulfilling His plan and purpose in this appointed time.

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus!

As we reflect over the past several months of 2006, we marvel at God's Grace that enabled us to organize and orchestrate the Azusa Street Centennial Native American Holy Spirit Gathering. It was an anointed time of tribal representation from literally around the world, gathering together to praise and worship our great Chief Jesus Christ!

News from the Body of Christ Church Annual Gathering Celebration.

What a wonderful and blessed time we had at the Body of Christ Church Annual Gathering Celebration. The Scripture theme was from Habakkuk 2:14 "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea".

We had great and anointed speakers. On Wednesday, November 8th the speaker was Juan Lopez, Tribal Praise Ministries. He spoke out of Ezekiel 37:15-24. It was an amazing teaching. On Thursday, November 9th Pastor Randy Barnetson, from First Nations Church in Santa Fe Springs, California spoke what a gifted speaker. On Friday November 10th, Chief Anne Richardson, from the Rappahonock Tribe in Indian Neck, Virginia what a blessing she was. You may visit the tribal web page at www.rappahannocktribe.org.

On Saturday, November 11, we had a Lighthouse Fellowship Meeting with special guest speaker Pastor Cheryl Bear, from the First Nations Church in Santa Fe Springs, California. Then on Saturday Night Pastor Juan Lopez on behalf of Latin University of Theology Bestowed a Doctorate on Pastor Gabriel Ward. You can see pictures on this website. Sunday the blessings continued with Ray Wilson, aka Black Buffalo, speaking at the morning service. Then in the evening; Pastor Silas Correa, an Otoe Indian who pastors Indian Bible Church in Denver, CO, spoke and was a great blessing to us.

If you would like to purchase CD's of the Speakers, please click to contact Sharon. They are available for a donation of $7.00 plus shipping and handling of $2.50. Or you may purchase the complete set for a donation of $45.00 plus shipping and handling of $3.50.
